Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos has suffered a thigh strain.

It will see Ceballos being absent from preseason for six weeks. It means he is out of their USA tour.

Real announced: "After the tests carried out on our player Dani Ceballos by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with an injury to the distal tendon of the right femoral biceps muscle."

He will stay in Madrid to continue his recovery.
