Real Madrid midfielder Marco Asensio has made a plea to coach Santiago Solari.

So far this season, he has yet to establish himself as a regular in the starting lineup.

"I am eager to contribute more to the club, to feel more important and I also need to have that confidence and be given that responsibility," he said to RTVE.

It's a very similar statement to the ones he made on Tuesday which sparked a debate.
