Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois admits he can't explain their dismal 2-1 home defeat to Girona.
Casemiro powerfully headed in from Toni Kroos' deep cross from the right wing to give the hosts a first-half lead.
Cristhian Stuani's penalty made it 1-1 after Sergio Ramos' handball and Girona's Portu then hit the crossbar.
Portu netted the winner with a diving header after Anthony Lozano's shot had been parried before Ramos was sent off in injury time for two yellow cards.
Courtois stated afterwards: "I do not know what happened, in the first-half we played well, maybe the pace was not like against Atleti or Ajax, but we played well, they had two chances that I stopped.
"In the second half I think they started to play better, they created more danger, I stopped a couple of shots and then the penalty came. I have not seen it, but it's a shame if it touches Ramos' hand. They put us 1-1 and we could not keep the ball. They made another shot, I stopped it well and Portu arrives right, I did not have time to stop him.
"They were three golden points we had to win today."
