Real Madrid fire bad news at Arsenal over Odegaard

Arsenal face a fight to keep hold of on-loan Real Madrid midfielder Martin Odegaard.

While in England it's claimed Arsenal have decided to push to buy Odegaard outright at the end of the season, news from Madrid is that his parent club have no interest in losing the new Norway captain.

AS says Real Madrid are determined to keep hold of Odegaard, no matter his issues with coach Zinedine Zidane, and there are no plans of selling him this summer.

A new loan could be a compromise for both parties, though it will be made clear to Arsenal that Odegaard is a Real Madrid player.

The midfielder's current loan runs to June.
