Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane insists he still counts on Gareth Bale.

Bale has been left on the bench in recent games and has been snapped making odd gestures as a substitute.

But Zidane is adamant the Welshman is part of his squad and hit out at the media for attempting to create division.

He said, "He is one of us.

"They try to put things between us, but they will not succeed. We are united, we all think the same thing. We want the same thing."

On the morale of the dressing room, Zidane added: "The beautiful thing we have is to add energy to it every day. That motivates us. We don't know what will happen until it happens."
