Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane says they'll know Sunday if Karim Benzema will be fit for their Champions League clash with Atalanta.

Benzema missed Saturday's win against Valladolid.

"We'll see if he's right on Sunday," said Zidane.

"He's got another MRI tomorrow and we'll see what's going on with Karim. I've not got any news on it today. He's better and we'll see tomorrow. We're not going to take any risks either way. We've got a lot of games left and he'll be involved if he can and if not, we're not going to take any risks.

"At the moment the situation is what it is. We've got a lot of players out. We're hoping to get some back, I don't know if they'll be back next week, but we're going to get some players back. At the moment we've got a lot out and that's what we're dealing with. We have to play with what we've got available and everyone is doing well and is committed to what we're doing."
