Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has hit out at Barcelona counterpart Xavi.

Ancelotti is fed-up with Xavi's accusations of bias in the LaLiga and favouritism for Real.

The Italian said: "I am a professional and, as such, I do not want to go down to this level. Out of respect for Spanish football.

"So don't ask any more about this. I don't want to lower the level of this."

Asked about Barca president Joan Laporta's claims, he also stated: "I've already said it, I don't go down to this level."
