Real Madrid sports chief Pedja Mijatovic made a check on Roma striker Mirko Vucinic in Tuesday's clash with Manchester United.

Mijatovic was in Rome on the night and Roma director Bruno Conti confirmed he met with the Real chief before the Champions League game.

AS says the priority for Mijatovic was to run his eye over Vucinic, knowing the striker would start the game due to the absence of Francesco Totti.
