Real Madrid chief Emilio Butragueno admits being eliminated from the Copa del Rey by Leganes is not good enough.

Real were bundled out of the Copa last night after defeat at home in the second-leg.

Butragueno stated: "The results are not what we expected and according to the level of our players. You have to accept it and reflect.

"There are months ahead but we were confident of being in the semifinals. We have to concentrate on what is left that is very important."

He added: "It is logical the fans are sad, I'm sorry for them. We always want them to be proud and that is what the players try for. We are sorry."
