Real Madrid are chasing a deal for Villarreal fullback Alfonso Pedraza.

Real president Florentino Perez has big concerns over his left-back options, with Marcelo now entering veteran status and Theo Hernandez failing to convince on-loan at Real Sociedad this season.

AS says Florentino is in contact with Villarreal and ready to close a January deal for Pedraza.

Real would be willing to pay the 22 year-old's buyout clause - €22m - and bring him to Madrid over the New Year.
