Real Madrid attacker Vinicius Jr proud of performance in victory at Braga

Real Madrid attacker Vinicius Jr was delighted after victory at Champions League opponents Braga.

Rodrygo and Jude Bellingham struck for the 2-1 win.

Vini Jr said, "I'm really pleased with how we played, to have got the assists and with my performance in general. I have the time to think and to lay on goals for my teammates. I'm working hard to keep performing at my best, as I have done over the last couple of season, so I can be among the best in the world.

“This was a difficult place to come, we've taken all three points and we haven't dropped a single one so far. We have to be patient because everything happens gradually. We stay calm and that helps us to get the goals.

"Having to dig in to win games away from home is to be expected. We played well, we converted our chances and could have scored more goals. We've won all three games and we have to keep up this good run.

“I'm really pleased to be showing my best form again following my injury. I'd like to thank the physios and the doctors for their efforts because they've helped me so much.

"I'm always moving so fast, sometimes I get carried away. I'm pleased with my performance today but I'm disappointed not to have scored."
