Former Everton star Jean-Philippe Gbamin is yet to sign for another club.

The central midfielder was out of contract this summer and the Toffees chose not to renew his deal.

Per Estadio Deportivo, Gbamin has been unable to agree with any team as yet.

However, he is close to reaching a deal with Real Betis, which would see him play in La Liga.

Gbamin is one who they see as a versatile squad player who can fill in as a defender and midfielder.

Everton fans will be hoping that he has a better time at his next club, compared to his tenure at Goodison Park.
