Real Betis are closing on a deal for Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen.
With his contract to expire at the end of next month, Vertonghen has been fielding Bosman interest from across Europe.
AS says Real Betis are in advanced talks with Vertonghen over a two-year contract worth €6m.
Indeed, there's suggestions the Belgium international has welcomed the offer and will put pen to paper on the deal. The agreement would make Vertonghen the second highest paid player at Betis behind Nabil Fekir.
Vertonghen has been with Spurs since 2012, having been signed from Ajax.
