Real Betis defender German Pezzella has signed a new contract.

The 32 year-old Argentine has penned terms to 2026.

Pezzella, after two seasons at Betis between 2015 and 2017, a club he joined from River Plate, moved to Fiorentina.

Then in the summer of 2021, he returned to Betis, contributing to the team's latest successes, with several consecutive European qualifications and the 2022 Copa title.

Now, he expands his link with the club to 2026, when he will be 35 years old.
