Real Betis coach Manuel Pellegrini had no complaints after their 1-0 Europa League defeat to Sparta Praha.
Lukas Haraslin proved the matchwinner on the night.
Pellegrini later said: "We knew it would be a tough game, Sparta is a good team especially if they play at home.
"I think we played a good match, in the first 45 minutes we had possession of the ball, we had chances to score but did not take any.
"After the break Sparta scored from their first chance they had in the second half. We had chances to equalise but did not.
"We knew before this game that if we win against Rangers we will win the group. I believe we will manage it."
