Real Betis are closing on a deal for Manchester City midfielder Oleksandr Zinchenko.

The Sun says Zinchenko, who made 14 appearances for Pep Guardiola's side last year, rejected a £16million offer from Wolves earlier this month in order to fight for his place in the side.

However, the 21-year-old looks to have accepted game time will be hard to come by and will move to La Liga for the rest of the campaign.

City's willingness to sell Zinchenko has suggested he is not in Guardiola's plans for the season and that appears to be the case now.
