Real Betis chief Planes insists priority are new deals for Miranda, Guido

Real Betis chief Ramon Planes says there's no plans to lose Juan Miranda in Janaury.

The fullback is being linked with AC Milan.

But Planes said at Sokratis' presentation: "With Juan, as with Rodri, a renewal a few weeks ago, we have been talking for some time about extending his contract so that he can continue at the club.

"There are two wishes, which must be respected, but the wish of the club is that Miranda can extend his contract with us."

On Guido Rodriguez, he also said: "In the case of Guido I think we have to value very much that he is with us. Last summer many people thought it was almost obvious that he was going to leave and Betis was going to accept an offer.

"We are working so that he can continue. His contract ends on June 30 and that makes the conversations intensify and we look for a meeting point as soon as possible."
