Reading midfielder Stephen Hunt is in talks with Portsmouth.
It is believed that Reading have decreased their valuation of Hunt to £3.5million prompting Pompey boss Paul Hart has shown more interest.
Hart recently completed the signing of Steve Finnan from Espanyol and is looking to strengthen the squad following the departure of England striker Peter Crouch.
