Reading are looking to restart their pursuit of Everton midfielder Mo Besic.

The Telegraph claims the Royals are hoping to secure the Toffees central midfielder on a free transfer in the summer.

Besic is likely to leave the Goodison Park club, as his contract expires when the season concludes.

The 28-year-old has not played for the club since December 2017, and has spent most of that time out on loan.

He has not even been included on the bench by manager Carlo Ancelotti at any stage of this season.

Reading attempted to sign him in January, but could not reach an agreement with Everton.
