RB Leipzig retain hope of Man City fullback Angelino return

RB Leipzig haven't dropped their push to extend the stay of Manchester City fullback Angelino.

The Spaniard was outstanding during his six month loan and RBL have hopes of a new arrangement next season.

City are willing to sell outright for €25m - a price which is deemed out of reach of RBL.

Discussing Angelino and fellow loanee, Roma striker Patrik Schick, RBL chief Oliver Mintzlaff stated: "I hope that we will find solutions. Markus (Krösche) and Julian (Nagelsmann) will continue our discussions in the next few days.

"We must clearly define: where do we stand, what makes sense and what has priority?"
