RB Leipzig fullback Angelino still hopes to make it with parent club Manchester City.
RBL have the option to buy the Spaniard outright at the end of this season.
But Kicker says Angelino wants to return to the Etihad and become a permanent fixture in the first team.
It's reported that Leipzig would be unlikely to afford his buy-out clause anyway, but another loan deal could be possible should he struggle for minutes in Manchester.
City re-signed Angelino in the summer as cheap left-back cover but allowed him to leave on loan to RB Leipzig in January after making just 12 appearances for the club.
