RB Leipzig have demanded Chelsea cough up a compensation fee for former sporting director Christopher Vivell.

Vivell was axed by RBL last month after learning he had been in contact with Chelsea.

However, rather than allow Vivell to move to London as a free agent, RBL are demanding a fee from Chelsea, says Sky Deutschland.

Vivell has been negotiating with Chelsea for some weeks. There are still details to be clarified, but everyone involved are optimistic of reaching an agreement.

He will take care of the management planning and the processing of transfers at Chelsea.
