RB Leipzig coach Rose blasts Werner: I won't tolerate that!

RB Leipzig coach Marco Rose has told Timo Werner to buck up his ideas.

Rose has warned Werner to park the petulance ahead of their return to face Celtic in the Champions League this week.

The Bundesliga side travel to Glasgow this week for the second of their double-header with Celtic, after their 3-1 win in Germany this week.

But Leipzig boss Rose was unhappy at former Chelsea star Werner's reaction to being substituted during the match after he made clear he was unhappy at being hooked.

Rose insists there is no problem between the pair, but has warned him he wouldn't tolerate a repeat.

He said: "The player approached me, we talked and exchanged our views.

"But the facts are I can't tolerate such things and I don't want to tolerate them. That's important and I think that's what Timo understood.

"The matter is closed and it won't happen again.

"It's a team game and I made that clear to him. But there's no problem. Timo will play in Glasgow.

"I'm totally behind him, I want to support him, I want to help him score a lot of goals for our club and for Germany.

"And I want to help him develop."
