Rayo Vallecano striker Raul de Tomas is coy over a return to parent club Real Madrid.

The 24-year-old is enjoying a fruitful campaign, with eight goals in LaLiga Santander so far this season.

His exploits have not gone unnoticed, with rumours rife over a potential return to Real Madrid next season.

Rayo signed De Tomas on loan from Los Blancos for a second successive season last summer, without an option to buy.

"The circumstances are like this because we have decided them this way," he said. "Now they will see what they have to do and I wish them luck."

"It's normal that [the media] talk about Real Madrid because I have a contract with them.

"But when you are playing for another club and score three goals, and the first thing they ask is about Real Madrid, well that's not right."
