Madrid reporter Paul Tenorio says Raul is a candidate to succeed Carlo Ancelotti as Real Madrid coach next season

Ancelotti remains the priority target for the Brazilian Football Confederation and should he leave at the end of the season, Tenorio says Castilla coach Raul will be considered as his replacement.

He told Radio Marca: "At Real Madrid they are very, very happy with the work of Raúl González.

"At the club they're happy with what Raúl is doing with the youngest team of the category and all the performance that he is getting from a team with several youth players."

Raul rejected an approach from Leeds this season as he focused on his work with Castilla.
