Rangers are planning an ambitious bid for Manchester City attacker James McAtee.
The Scottish Sun says McAtee has been linked with a loan move away from the Premier League champions as he looks to make the step up to senior football.
Leeds United have been linked with a move for the teenager this summer, with suggestions he may have been involved in the deal to take Kalvin Phillips across to Manchester.
Despite that not being the case - the Whites will instead sign his teammate Darko Gyabi for around £5million - Victor Orta is still eyeing a loan deal for the attacking midfielder.
However, it's now emerged they face competition from Rangers this summer, which want to take McAtee on-loan.
