Ramsey says Arsenal are 'more than capable' of scoring at Monaco

Arsenal will set out to achieve what has never been done in the Champions League before and midfielder Aaron Ramsey believes that they are more than capable of doing so.

The Gunners lost the Round of 16 first leg against Monaco 3-1 at home and no team in the history of Europe's premier club competition have ever gone through having lost the home leg first and needing to score more than one away goal.

Arsenal find themselves in this situation ahead of the return bout at the Stade Louis II on Tuesday night but midfielder Ramsey has sounded a warning to the French club.

"We had a sloppy first leg and we've made it quite difficult for ourselves, but it's not over yet," said Ramsey who was unavailable for the first leg due to injury.

"We are more than capable of scoring three goals. We'll go into the game believing we can achieve that.

"We need to score goals, so we will go there and try to score three or more goals and hopefully not concede any. That's our target and that's how we will approach it."
