Sevilla midfielder Ivan Rakitic insists they face Manchester United capable of an upset.

United host the first-leg of their Europa League quarterfinal tonight.

Rakitic said, "We want to compete. By competing in our competition and with enthusiasm and desire, nobody will beat us, I am convinced that we will see a great Sevilla.

"The coach (Jose Luis Mendilibar) wants the same things as us. We have to know what to do at all times. Against United it is a new test to strengthen the coach and the squad.

"It will be very difficult because Manchester United are the favourites in the competition, but we all know the history of Sevilla."
