Sky Sports is reporting that up to 10 Premier League clubs want to sign Jermain Defoe - but Tottenham are not one of them. QPR - managed by Harry Redknapp, one of Defoe's former managers - Sunderland, Crystal Palace, Hull and Leicester are among the clubs believed to be keen on a move for a player who has scored 124 Premier League goals.
The 32 year old, who is training with Tottenham's development squad, has scored 11 goals in 19 games for MLS outfit Toronto, who are believed to want around £3m for the striker.
