West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino is understood to be a step closer to securing a move to Tottenham.

Manager Tony Pulis hinted at the impending transfer when said: "We expect to do a lot of business over the next two weeks - in and out."

Spurs were said to be hopeful of signing the 22-year-old for £20million, but it is understood West Brom are refusing to budge from their original asking price of £25million.
