Crystal Palace boss Tony Pulis is delighted with the influence of football chief Iain Moody.
Moody was snapped up by Palace after his axing at Cardiff.
Pulis told WalesOnline: "Iain has been good. The great thing about Iain - the players we have signed have been the players that I have wanted.
"It is not Iain signing the players without me knowing anything about them. I wanted those players and they were within a certain budget. Club chairman Steve Parish and I let Iain get on with it. Iain speaks to the agents and puts the deals together.
"With all of them I have to convince the players to come to this football club.
"I have to convince them that Crystal Palace is a progressive club and convince them they will play a part in what we are trying to achieve and be part of it.
"Wayne Hennessey has not played yet, but I think potentially he can be a top, top goalkeeper, but Julian Speroni has played so well this year."
