PSG urge Man Utd keeper De Gea to sit out contract

PSG are in talks with Jorge Mendes about a deal for Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea.

The Spain international has just over a year to run on his current and has so far resisted to committing to new terms.

Le 10 Sport says PSG have pulled back from plans of bidding for De Gea this summer. However, talks between both parties are continuing.

PSG want De Gea to sit on the final year of his deal before moving to Paris on a free transfer in 2020.

And he will be rewarded for his patience with a massive contract and signing on fee waiting for him next year.

As such, PSG intend to go around again next season with current keepers Alphonse Areola, Gianluigi Buffon and Kevin Trapp.
