Tottenham could be forced to bring forward plans for Valencia midfielder Carlos Soler this week.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is a fan of the youngster and is keen to bring him to London this summer.

However, PSG are also interested and prepared to offer €40m for Soler before Thursday's transfer deadline.

Any bid would force Spurs into action, where Pochettino is determined to land the midfielder.

And local media sources insist despite PSG's interest Soler would favour working with Pochettino should it become a straight choice.
