PSG star Angel di Maria admits their shock Champions League defeat to Manchester United remains "inexplicable".

United bundled PSG out of the competition after a stunning 3-1 win in Paris, reaching the quarterfinals 3-3 on aggregate.

Di Maria told TyC Sports: "Manchester United? We were spectacular in the first leg as against Barcelona two years ago.

"And then back, we were another team. It's inexplicable.

"We must learn from our mistakes ... even if we thought we had already done so."
