Idrissa Gueye says joining PSG is an "honour".

The former Everton midfielder made the move to Paris on Tuesday.

Gueye said, "It's an honor and a pride to be Parisian. Every player dreams of playing for this kind of club. I am happy, and especially honored to wear this jersey.

"Playing with big players at PSG? They are very great players, we usually see on TV. Now I'm going to rub shoulders with them, being able to play with them is a pleasure for me, I will learn a lot from them.

"I will give the maximum to respond on the ground, and especially to not disappoint. Discover the Parc des Princes? I am very eager to discover this fervor. It is difficult to explain, but it is something that I absolutely want to discover.

"Since I was young, I always dreamed of playing in a club like Paris Saint-Germain."
