PSG remove giant Mbappe mural as transfer row escalates

Paris Saint-Germain have removed a giant mural of their star player in an escalation of their internal conflicts.

The Parisian club have taken down a mural of French forward Kylian Mbappe as he continues to run down his contract.

Mbappe's deal expires in one year and he is determined to leave for Real Madrid on a free transfer.

However, PSG and their owners the Qatar Sports Group are determined to sell Mbappe this summer.

As the forward refuses to leave, the club are threatening to put him in the reserves for the whole year.

Mbappe, who is 24, is being paid a massive loyalty bonus as he enters the second year of the two-year deal the club offered him last summer.
