PSG have reacted quickly to Kylian Mbappe's outburst at the French Football Awards on Sunday night.

Mbappe spoke of moving on to a “new project" if he isn't handed greater influence at the club.

PSG boss Thomas Tuchel, sitting in the audience, was left stunned by the £160million star's declaration, while there also appeared to be an awkward exchange between Mbappe and Thiago Silva.

PSG have sought to dampen suggestions that he could leave this summer - particularly with Real Madrid keeping tabs on not just his situation, but also that of Neymar - by essentially labelling Mbappe 'untransferable'.

However, they also reminded the 20-year-old that titles are only won by the collective.

They announced: "Very strong ties have united Paris Saint-Germain and Kylian Mbappe for two years and this story will continue together also next season.

"With the shared ambition to write the history of European football, in the year of the 50th anniversary of PSG,a long awaited moment to write together a big page in the history of our club and in which everyone will have to do his part, always giving value to the collective."
