PSG coach Laurent Blanc is keen to work with Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli. Despite his problems at Anfield this season, Balotelli still has big fans on the continent, including in France.

Sportmediaset says Balotelli's agent, Mino Raiola, has a tentative proposal from PSG and is now pushing Liverpool to release the Italian for loan this month.

PSG's move for Balotelli is linked to the future of Edinson Cavani, who would be allowed to leave if Raiola is successful in convincing Liverpool to part with his client.

Any Liverpool decision, however, is likely to depend on them finding a replacement for Balotelli.
