PSG coach Pochettino remains Man Utd first-choice to replace Solskjaer

Paris Saint-Germain manager Mauricio Pochettino remains Manchester United's first choice to take over from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The Norwegian coach is on thin ice with the Red Devils, with British media reports indicating poor results against Tottenham, Atalanta, or Manchester City in the next three games would seal his fate.

Former Chelsea and Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte is open to joining United, but the club's hierarchy are skeptical about appointing the Italian.

According to the Daily Star, United's first choice is Pochettino, as he is someone legendary boss Sir Alex Ferguson admires greatly.

Pochettino is under pressure to keep his job at PSG, with his star-studded line-up failing to dominate in recent weeks.

The Argentine was long linked with United when he was manager of Tottenham.
