PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino's mind is already focused on Old Trafford, it has been revealed.

Pochettino is favourite to replace caretaker manager Ralf Rangnick at Manchester United some time in 2022.

Le Parisien says the Argentine is now counting down the days ahead of returning to England, knowing PSG also have plans in place to replace him with Zinedine Zidane.

Former Tottenham manager Pochettino has a deal to 2023, but won't be blocked from leaving by PSG so long as Zidane is willing to step in. PSG have already made two attempts for such a change - in November and in January - but Zidane couldn't be persuaded.

Pochettino could yet become available sooner than June after their Coupe de France elimination by Nice on the weekend. Should they lose their round of 16 Champions League clash against Real Madrid, then PSG's board may act.
