Manchester United have plans to send Alvaro Fernandez away on-loan this season.
The Manchester Evening News says the young left-back has attracted plenty of interest during the transfer window and has held talks with Championship side Preston about a possible move.
Fernandez was pictured at the club's Deepdale stadium and will also be in attendance to watch their pre-season friendly against Leicester on Saturday afternoon.
The former Real Madrid trainee, however, could be offered a Premier League before in the coming days.
Club sources have reiterated that Fernandez is only 'assessing one of the options' and that nothing has been signed in regards to an official loan exit.
