Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy was astonished at seeing how much winning the Premier League title means to the people of the city.
Leicester managed to claim the Premier League title against all odds this season and the Foxes celebrated the triumph with an open-top bus parade on Monday, starting at Jubilee Square in the city centre before making their way to Victoria Park.
An estimated 250,000 people greeted their heroes during the parade and Vardy was left amazed by the reception.
"Look at it - it is carnage," he told Sky Sports.
"I heard a little rumour this morning that we're expecting 250,000 people. Look what it means to them all.
"All the shops are shut, everyone's hanging out their windows, people are stood on the roofs.
"It's brilliant, what a day. It's been an unbelievable achievement. I'll wait until it does sink in and then I think I'll have a few days to myself."
