Fiorentina coach Cesare Prandelli praised fans for their support after victory over Livorno.
The Viola snapped their winless streak thanks to the 2-1 win.
"It was a tough victory and one we sorely needed, considering the emergency situation drags on," said Prandelli.
"The lads did brilliantly. In the first half we made life difficult for ourselves and paid the price for a mistake in midfield, while Cristiano Lucarelli hit the crossbar.
"We got a little scared at that point, but the fans understood the situation and carried on supporting us towards our comeback.
"I didn't hear a single jeer during that difficult time. Psychologically the fans were crucial today in helping us get back into the game.
"In fact for the second half we came out early and feeling the affection of the crowd really helped us to stay calm."
