Portugal 1966 World Cup veteran Antonio Simoes says key to success in Qatar will be Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva.

Simoes says a lot will hinge on Bernardo's form.

He said, "Bernardo Silva is a kid with an extraordinary talent and I have a weakness for left-handers.

"I can't resist. He's a player who can score a goal in any moment or find someone with an assist that no one in the assist was expecting.

"He is an indispensable player. I hope he is well."
