Quincy Owusu-Abeyie has left Portsmouth and signed for Qatarian club Al Sadd. The 23-year-old forward was on loan at Fratton Park until the end of the season from Spartak Moscow.

Last week Spartak asked Portsmouth to allow Owusu-Abeyie to terminate his deal, and they have now agreed to this.

Al Sadd agreed a fee believed to be £4million for the player.

It is reported that Portsmouth picked up around £250,000 for allowing the deal to go through.
