Port Vale boss Rob Page was pleased with Remie Streete's debut in victory over Leyton Orient.

The young defender is on-loan from Newcastle United.

"Remie gave a good account of himself," said Page.

"They had one man up top and put the 6ft 4in striker up to test him in the last 15 minutes.

"The physical side of it pleased me. He didn't shy away from that, as well as being more than comfortable on the ball. I think he's going to have a bright future."
