Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino insists his side is still well and truly capable of overtaking Chelsea at the top of the Premier League table.

Following his side's emphatic 2-0 victory over arch-rivals Arsenal, Spurs remain four points adrift of league leaders Chelsea, who comfortably defeated Everton 3-0 on Sunday.

Despite the gap, Pochettino believes that his side need to keep their eyes on the prize.

"We are in the race for the title. We reduce again the gap to Chelsea," Pochettino told the Mirror.

"And now we have to be focused because we have again on Friday a very important game against West Ham and now it's important to be focused on that game.

"We will have the chance to play before Chelsea and if we are able to win at West Ham… it will be a tough game and a difficult game and if we are able to win we will see what happens."

With four matches remaining to till the end of the season, Tottenham must extend their current nine match win streak.
