Pochettino in crisis meeting with Spurs players

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has held a crisis meeting with his players after their Champions League humiliation.

Pochettino was determined to get to the bottom of the reasons behind Tottenham's 7-2 defeat to Bayern Munich and hammer out the reasons behind their poor start to the campaign, says the Mirror.

Pochettino delayed the inquest for 24 hours rather than laying into his players in the dressing room and spoke to them when they came in for a warm down at the training ground after the Bayern game to prepare for this weekend.

They now face an uphill struggle to reach the Champions League knock-out stage an Pochettino has already admitted there have been “different agendas" within his squad after a summer of discontent in the transfer market.

Pochettino has been critical of his players in the way they have not pressed any more while the players have been fed-up of the tactics which have left them wide open and vulnerable in defence.
