Rafaela Pimenta says Erling Haaland chose Manchester City as he had playing guarantees.

Pimenta, now Haaland's agent, has detailed why he chose City last summer when leaving Borussia Dortmund.

Pimenta told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "Erling's choice (Haaland) was above all sporty.

"When (Pep) Guardiola and City gave guarantees on his use on the field, negotiations accelerated.

"Zlatan's (Ibrahimovic) precedent (with Guardiola) did not weigh, because the agent must step back from the interest of the player."
