Leeds ace Phillips claims Chelsea midfielder Mount would become 'superstar' under Bielsa

Kalvin Phillips has joked Chelsea playmaker Mason Mount would be a superstar if he joined Leeds United.

Mount established himself as a bonafide star this season as Chelsea lifted the Champions League trophy by beating Manchester City.

And Phillips believes the youngster would fit in with Marcelo Bielsa's ferocious tactics at Elland Road.

Asked to name one England player he would love to see at Leeds, Phillips told England's YouTube channel: 'I'd probably say Mason Mount.

"I feel like me and Mason get on quite well, but just the way we play.

"The way he presses in his position and the positions he gets himself into would suit Leeds United.

"He could probably take the way the manager works on board and he'd be a superstar if he came to Leeds."
